Tuesday to present

On Tuesday night we ended up going for a walk round the residence and found ourselves at this house party in court 1 where I was introduced to the best game: Flip Cup! - google it. Turned out to be a really good night, met some more people, then a few of us (including some of the Keele lot) headed back to ours for a bit to hang out.

Yesterday we had our orientation meetings with the faculties. Mine was in the biggest lecture hall I'd ever seen! The whole of humanities was there and we were introduced to the professors, directors and the assistant dean. Not much really happened wasn't really that interesting. Although all the students in each department cheered when their subject was mentioned. Later I had another orientation but that was even more boring than the first and pretty much said the same things. After that we went headed to the Pen Centre mall for a look around... its huge! The Avicci concert was the main event and one of the biggest things in O-Week, it was really good even though it was outside and raining!

Today was the first day of class! I had two classes today. My first class was History of Music in the Classical Era at 9am (9am!!!!) with Professor Debly, she's really nice. Was just an introduction but still quite interesting, we're going to be doing mainly Beethoven, Motzart and Haydn which are my favourites!! At 11 I had Music Cognition, the psychology module which was another introductory lesson. From the syllabus I can tell that the work load is going to be quite a bit more than last year. We've got readings that we have to read before each lecture, and its compulsory we buy the textbooks which are not that cheap.. we're assessed for essays and presentations as well as quizzes and tests. Music Cognition we have a Mid-term exam instead of one in December but in History we will have a final paper.

Tonight we're going to a partyyyyyyy xxxxxxxxxxx
